worthless I'm happy at all. I could sharpen a pencil better with my teeth.

Got Stuck
Makes a great point without taking too much excess pencil material. However with colored pencils sharpener broke the lead and it got stuck in blades. Cleaned it some and it runs fine now. A little loud for its size.

Super loud. Worked for about 2 months and then barely sharpened at all anymore.

Just as expected
This vertical pencil sharpener is exactly what we were looking for. The top sharpen option is so helpful when space is limited because you can put things in front of it and it doesn't hinder your ability to use the product.

Great for the office
Works much better than the one that was dull and eventually stopped working. Sharpens great and fast. It is alittle loud if your in a quiet office but works great for us.

Poor Quality
We purchased this item and it already broke only after sharpening 24 pencils. Would NOT recommend it!!!!

Better choices out there
I wish I had read the review about how loud and annoying it is. Sounds like a dentist's drill. And doesn't do a great job sharpening either. I don't understand why it got so many positive reviews.

Not Reliable
The connection fades in and out. It's not consistent even with trying to lightly or firmly press the pencil. Very disappointed b/c it's the perfect size for my desk. When it does connect it's a sharp point.

BROKE on 2nd USE - Dont waste money!!!
Horrible Pencil Sharpener - Very Cheaply Made. Love that it is upright to save space but not worth my money for only sharpening 1 pencil.

I purchased this sharpener in August and it broke in November - don't waste your money buying this one!

Worked for one pencil
We recently purchased two of these sharpeners. Neither of them work very well. One sharpened the first pencil adequately but failed with the second pencil. The other sharpener wasn't even successful with the first pencil. I would strongly advise against purchasing this item.

Simple and to the "point"!
Works great doesn't take up a lot of room and the convenience of sharpening your pencil from the top is a huge plus!
