Quality
Paper quality was poor/flimsy; not card stock. Paper used was copier paper grade. If possible, would not even give it one star.

great 5x8 index cards
I use a great number of 5x8 inch index cards per year, and this is truly a best buy. Because I make name placards frequently using a typesetting program (Latex), I find these cards a perfect, affordable solution to using so many cards. They are always high quality and never bent, torn, or marred in any fashion.

I love these!
I use these for timecards at work. I print our timecard onto these index cards and they work great! Been doing this for about 4 years now.

Thick paper. Caution on what you use these for.
Has anyone found a source of legitimate index cards?

Thinner than they used to be
I love using index cards for a variety of purposes. I have used them for years. This batch is considerably thinner than those I've used in the past, not much thicker than copy paper. I'll need to find another source for these.

5x8 unlined index cards
oh what can I say? I buy these 500 pks two at a time...sometimes they last a long time, sometimes not...use for storelists, recipes, to-do lists, you name it...
love the unruled ones cause I can type/print on them w/o having a lined side to mess with...of course, in the past, I used the lined ones too...any old port in a storm, so to speak!!
Staples products are as stur...

Leonardo & the Unruled White Index Card
Before the Italian Renaissance, index cards were only yellow, and they were all ruled. But Leonardo (think 'Mona Lisa' and L'Ultima Cena among many masterpieces) in an off moment, between creating the first airplane and designing the dome of the Cathedral in Milan, looked at his yellow, ruled index card and felt dissatisfaction. What, he asked himself, was wrong here, a...

Excellent
Staples 5x8 index cards are not quite as thick as Staples 67lb card stock but are a little thicker than 24lb paper. Works great in a laser printer's paper tray without jamming, feeds smoothly and print is sharp and crisp.

Perfect product
These card are equal or better than the Oxford cards I used to use and quite a bit less expensive. Highly recommended.
