Easy to Use
Works great for regular typing. We are typing on thin carbon paper. Not a strong strike to imprint carbon. A work around was found and we are able to use it. For normal typing it is great.

Not for intensive use
After my IBM Correcting Selectric II died (40+ years of service) and with very few options available for a new unit I purchased the Royal Scriptor. I find I am constantly auto-correcting because it can't keep up with my typing speed! It's fine for addressing envelopes or filling in simple forms but it certainly cannot compete with what I consider to be a "real" ...

Royal Typewriter
The price is very reasonable and the size fits our space requirements. Easy to use. It is a little louder when typing than our old machine was. But overall a good value.

Royal Scriptor
It's okay. This replaces a Brother. Royal is not as easy to use as versatile or has many features. The font isn't as easy to read. It is a typewriter with basic tabs. That's it. No more. No less.

Very Cheap but the only option.
May return it already has issues and has been used once. It's large and cheap for the price there are very few option at Staples for a typewriter which is disapointing as many industries still use them for duplicate forms. Would not recommend

Typewriter
This little machine work so well. I know typewriters are a thing of the past but sometimes you just need one. Especially when filling in forms on the fly. We love this typewriter. It's quiet and functions exactly as it should.

Scriptor
Only need typewriter for Titles and Legal documents and this Scriptor Electronic Typewriter fulfills our needs. The characters are legible and you only need a soft touch using the keys. It is doing a very good job for us.

Good deal.
For what they're charging to buy typewriters these days the Scriptors were priced great. Also since Brother discontinued ALL their typewriters these things are very hard to come by. Thank you Staples!
