Poor quality
If you are looking for stock quality paper index cards, keep looking. These cards are not thicker than 2 sheets of copy paper.

Take it from someone who knows
I use index cards. I mean I use *thousands* of them! I use so many, that I actually have developed a preference among brands. I exclusively use 3X5 blank white ones.
So did you ever hear that if you want to test a brand of ice cream, to just try the vanilla flavor, and you will have a good reference point to compare others? Well the same principle applies.
