Don't waste your money!
Second dispenser to lose the bottom plug. I ordered 2 and when I took one out of the box the bottom seal popped off and contents was draining back into box. I was able to save that one. Then the one on my desk decided to let loose today. Major mess all over my desk and floor, since I was picking it up to carry to another location!

I like the dispenser itself but without the instructions from Lana A I probably would have thrown it across the room. Who ever heard of a stapler
needed instructions. Almost impossible to get refill out and in.

Executive Desktop Tape Dispenser, Black/Silver
The tape dispenser looks nice and durable. It grips well to the desk surface. I am not in favor of the way the core is designed. I had to read other reviews to figure out how to get it out. It not intuitive, nor easy.

Black Gravel Spilled Out in Package - What a Mess
Sorry (again!) that I bought a low-priced Staples brand product. Bought two dispensers. The black gravel was spilling out of one of them in the package. A real mess! The one that was not leaking is not that great either. It's much lighter than I expected. When I try to pull tape it slides across the counter.

Awful Design
The stopper that holds the gravel in the bottom is simply a thick plastic sticker! Today, it fell off as I lifted it and got black gravel everywhere. I can't believe it says "Patent Pending" on it. This is awful design.

The first time I ordered one, it was perfect and matched my color scheme. I ordered another one for the other counter and within a week, the bottom that holds the material in just fell off and dropped that stuff all over the place. adding tape. no instructions
The tape dispenser looks nice and is heavier than most for it's size, however I still have to put a rubber mat underneath to keep it from sliding toward me when I pull. The other issue is there are no instructions for changing the tape. It is counter intuitive. Do not pull up. Good Despenser - Not so good to load
We had one heck of a time trying to get the tape loaded into this dispenser, not to mention there were no instructions. Other than that it's a tape dispenser, and will
be of good service to us many years.

customer service
Staff could not figure out how to open to put tape in dispenser. finally figured it out, no instructions provided. it is extremely difficulty to change tape roll. almost hurt oneself in order to do so. once the tape roll is on it seems to work fine but that part is ridiculous.

This Staples Executive Desktop tape dispenser is good, simple tape dispenser. One of the best features is the built-in core that you should never lose...which I do frequently. Nice for the price.
