Great Product
This chalkboard is a great size and really worked well for the purpose of why I bought it. Is is worth buying and I would buy it again. Sturdy and a perfect surface with no problems with the chalk markings showing up clearly to read.

Works great for math calculations!
From reading reviews on other unnamed internet vendors I was concerned that the chalkboard would be broken on arrival. Not to worry! Staples delivered it in perfect shape and even let me open the package before accepting it. Very upset that someone had written on this chalkboard and didn't erase it well, so when my daughter opened it (it was a gift)it looked used and not new as it was supposed to be!

O.K. product
Opened the top of the box at store, it seemed O.K. Couldn't see the defect until you "seasoned" the board and near the bottom it had a bump and a divot, like it was pushed from both sides. O.K. for garage use.

Good for the money
Used in our play room. Product needed additional screws in the middle which were not provided. If not, the surface is uneven and moves. We screwed it into the wall for safety.

Great for home school & business
It is good for the price. I recommend using high quality chalk like Prang. The low grade ones tends to scratch/not write as smooth on the surface. Just what I need for my "classroom" at home. Love it.

Consideration ought to be given to it being mounted and used vertically (as we have) which makes the chalk & eraser tray useless.
