Protective guard is stuck in locked position. Not usable.
Cannot use. The protective guard is stuck in the locked position. Returning to Staples.

Works great!
Platform was slightly unlevel out of the box so I put a thumbtack on the bottom of one leg and itÂ’s fine now. The handle lock is very tight and hard to disengage but I think with use it will loosen up. So far IÂ’ve used it to cut laminating and it works great. I think for the price, it is a good paper cutter.

Swingline - Lite Guillotine Paper Trimmer- 10 Sheets
I am very pleased with this product. It is lite and very easy to relocate to various work areas. It appears to be very well constructed, and very easy to store. It is a great value for the price; I would rate 5 stars.

Paper Cutter
This is something we should have purchased in the store rather than on-line. Very surprised with the thin plastic base. Not very heavy duty at all. For a cutter that is supposed to cut 10 sheets at a time just not what one would expect. Disappointed in the product not Staples.

Good for the money
It does what I need; straight edges. Lightweight, may not feel solid but it does the job. Only thing I don't like is the way the blade locks; I have to pull it to the side to unlock the blade; seems like that will become stressed and break with repeated use but has worked well so far.

excellent paper cutter
This paper cutter does a great job. Handles at least 10 sheets at once. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to other looking for a very good paper cutter at a reasonable cost.

Swingline ClassicCut lite guillotine paper trimnmner, 10 sheets
Cutting single paper, it works great, tried five sheets and you had to push the handle two times up and down to cut through, when we tried to cut three sheets, only once did we push the handle down. The bad thing is the blade latch hook, it is under the blade, you have to lift the unit on its side to release the latch/hook, your finger is close to the blade.
